Prepare of chickpeas.
You need of onions.

Chole masala instructions
First, boil chickpeas. Take 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and roast onions, garlic, tomatoes, and grated dry coconut in same order. Cool it and grind it in a fine paste..
Again, take 1 tablespoon of oil and fry all the masala powders on a slow flame for 2-3 minutes. Stir continuously. Then, add boiled chickpeas and mix well..
Add the grinded paste to the pan and mix well. Add water accordingly. And bring it oil until the gravy gets a good consistency.
Serve the sabzi with finely chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander sprinkled on top..
