- It’s 1.5 ltr of Milk.
- It’s 1/2 cup of curd / 1 lemon.

Chena Poda – Odia Burnt Cheese Cake step by step
- Take milk in a deep vessel and bring it to a boil..
- When milk starts boiling, add juice of one lemon mixed with 2 tbsp water / 1/2 cup dahi in parts to the milk and keep stirring..
- After a few minutes of stirring, milk will start curdling..
- Strain the mixture and take chena (paneer) in a separate bowl. Don't squeeze all the water out..
- Add sugar, semolina in the mixture and give it a thorough mix.
- Now add 1 tbsp desi ghee,nuts, cardamon powder. Add some whey if the mixture is dry and mix till everything is combined well..
- In a deep kadhai/ cooker put salt and let it heat for 10 minutes.
- Grease a cake tin/ any steel container and pour the chena mixture in it..
- After preheating the kadhai, put a stand and pur container over it. Cover and let it bake for about 30.35 minutes.
- Demould once cool enough to touch.Garnish with some nuts and cardamon..
