Avial step by step

  1. Grind all the ingredients under the "To Grind"  into a fine paste and keep aside.
  2. Cook all the vegetables in a cooker for 1 – 2 whistles and keep aside.
  3. In a pan add the beaten curd and bring it to a slow boil. The curd needs to split. Make sure you continuously stir the curd .
  4. Once the curd is split add the cooked vegetables and the ground paste and bring it all to boil. .
  5. Add curry leaves and a teaspoon of coconut oil when it comes to a boil. .
  6. Temper the mustard and Fenugreek  and add this to the Avial. .
  7. Serve with rice .
