Eggless Donuts instructions
- Start by adding sugar and yeast to warm milk, stir and keep aside for 10 mins till yeast becomes frothy.
- In a mixing bowl add flour, milk powder and mix well, once the yeast mixture is frothy add that in and knead to a sticky dough.
- Add butter & knead for 8- 10 mins, once done. Cover and let it prove for 2 hrs.
- After 2 hrs dough becomes double is size.
- Then take refined flour sprinkle of it and punch down the dough,knead and then roll it dusting flour in between (u may need more or less refined flour/maida depends upon ur flour quality).
- Roll it into 1/2inch thickness and then cut it using donut cutter or a glass or cookie cutter..
- Using 1inch diameter Cutter make a hole in centre as well.
- Keep these in a tray and let them prove for another 1 1/2hr.
- After 1 1/2 hr it will double in size.
- Now heat some oil in wok, once the oil seems to be medium hot, throw in a small centre of donut to check whether it's hot enough. If it's starts bubbling after a second it's ready.
- Add donuts and fry on medium flame.
- Fry till golden brown.
- Once fried transfer to a plate.
- Now coat the donut with white and dark chocolate sauces and decorate however u want.
- To prepare dark chocolate sauce add 100 grms dark chocolate & 70ml milk to a saucepan and heat in a medium flame. Stir regularly until smooth..
