- First warm up 1/2 cup of milk add sugar. When it's lukewarm add yeast and cover. Set aside for 10 mins or until frothy..
- Add this yeast mixture to 1 cup of flour. Keep it covered with a cloth for 30 mins..
- When leavened properly add in rest of the ingredients and knead well. The dough should be slightly sticky yet soft..
- Keep it covered for 1.5 hrs around or until it doubles..

- Get your chocolate glaze ready while dough is kept for rising..
- Add in all the ingredients of glaze except milk… as you need to add milk as required. A semi thick glossy glaze shall be prepared by adding the milk little at a time. Set aside..
- Get your sprinkles etc handy..
- Now punch down the air from the dough.knead for few minutes say 5 mins..
- Then roll and cut into doughnut shapes..
- Set them on baking tray and cover for second proving.. this may take 30 to 45 mins..
- In last 15 mins of proving, preheat the oven at 180 °c..
- Bake the donuts for 12-15 mins. Though baking time always varies depending upon your oven. So keep an eye on them..
- While a bit warm, dip them in the glaze thencdecorate as per your imagination..
