Recipe: Yummy Mango Sheera

Mango Sheera. This mango sheera is a thick pudding or spoon fudge made with semolina and mango puree. I use canned Kesar mango puree in the recipe. Often the canned mango puree has some sugar, so you might or might not need additional sweetener.

Ingredients of Mango Sheera

  1. It’s 1 cup of Semolina.
  2. It’s 1/2 cup of sugar or as required.
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp of ghee(clarified butter).
  4. You need of Mixed dry fruits chunks.
  5. You need pieces of Mango.

Mango Sheera step by step

  1. Melt 1tbsp of ghee in a pan & add in semolina.Roast on a low flame.Dont allow it to become brown.It gives nice aroma in about 5/8 mins..
  2. Time to add mango pulp.Add in warm mango pulp mix well & cover to cook just for 5 mins on a low flame. Mix sugar depending upon the sweetness of Mango.Add in remaining ghee & give a nice stir..
  3. Finally garnish with dry fruits chunks.its ready..Serve with mango pieces on top..

Add it to the traditional sheera, to make it more interesting and unique. Like any sheera, the Mango Sheera too is quite easy to make so you can make it any time you wish. Mango sheera is similar to the regular sheera that we make, except for the use of fresh mango puree.
