Ingredients of Sheera

  1. Prepare 1/2 cup of semolina.
  2. You need 1 tsp of Besan.
  3. You need 1 tsp of maida (all purpose flour).
  4. You need 1/2 cup of ghee.
  5. Prepare 1/2 cup of sugar.
  6. It’s of Finely chopped Dryfruits as per choice.
  7. It’s of Water as reqired.
  8. It’s As needed of Dry rose petals to gatnish.
  9. You need of Few strands of kesar.
  10. You need of Green cardamom.

The all time favorite sweet dish recipe, the Sheera is prepared from roasted semolina or rava. The suji is roasted in ghee and then cooked with sugar and water till soft. Sheera instructions

  1. Add ghee in a pan and roast Suji, maida and besan. All to be roasted separately as they take different time to get roasted..
  2. On another stove, add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water..
  3. Keep stirring and make a sugar syrup. Add kesar and cardamom in it..
  4. When the fragrance of dry ingredients starts coming, add sugar syrup and stir continuously. Add water if required more..
  5. Keep stirring until it leaves the sides of the pan..
  6. Take out in a bowl, garnish with powdered rose petals and serve…
