Hyderabadi Veg Haleem Protein Pack Daliya Khichadi step by step

  1. Combine yellow moong dal, Urad dal, masoor dal, tohar dal, peppercorns, jeera, shahi jeera, seaseme seeds, cinnamon, cardamom in a mixer grinder and blend to a smooth powder..
  2. Keep it aside..
  3. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute on medium flame for 5mins..
  4. Add mixed vegetables, coriander, mint leaves, salt and saute for more 5mins..
  5. Add broken wheat daliya and 1/2 cup water, mix well and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally..
  6. Add prepared dal powder, curds, milk, mix well and pressure cook it for 3 whistles..
  7. Allow it to cool naturally..
  8. Add 1cup of water and mash with help of potato masher till coarse..
  9. Serve hot garnished with melted ghee, deep-fried onions and nuts..
  10. Hyderabadi Vegetable Haleem served with chilled Raita.
