Ingredients of Khajoor and Dry fruit Barfi

  1. You need 1 1/2 cup of sugar.
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of dates.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of Cashews.
  4. It’s 1/2 cup of almond.
  5. It’s 1/2 cup of walnut.
  6. You need 1/2 cup of grated coconut.
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup of melon seeds.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of cardamom crushed.
  9. Prepare 2 tsp of ghee.
  10. You need 3/4 cup of water for sugar syrup.

  1. Chop all the dry fruits place everything in a bowl.. Roughly chop dates,discard their seeds…
  2. Peel cardamom and crush it's seeds keep aside..
  3. Grease a tray with ghee and set aside..
  4. Place a pan on flame pour 1-2 tsp ghee and add chopped cashews, almond,walnut,melon seeds,coconut grated..keep stirring constantly and Roast them for 2-3 minutes on medium flame…
  5. Take a pan on medium flame add 1 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water keep stirring…then the syrup will begin to thicken add crushed cardamom keep stirring..Switch off the stove…
  6. Add all roasted nuts, chopped dates mix well and pour it in a greased tray…
  7. Leave this to settle down for 20-25 mins..cut them to squares and serve…
