Chickpea laddoo (chana laddoo). Besan ladoo are delicious sweet balls made with gram flour, sugar, ghee & cardamoms. Ladoos are ball shaped sweet delights from Indian cuisine made during festivals & celebrations. Besan ladoo are not only delicious & aromatic but also have a melt in the mouth texture.

Firstly for making ladoos, roast the flours. For this, melt some ghee in a wok and to it then add wheat flour and chickpea flour. Stir constantly and roast until it gets golden brown in color.   1. Prepare of roasted chana.
  2. You need of powder sugar.
  3. You need of desi ghee.

When the ghee starts separating from the mixture and it appears golden brown, it is done and ready. *To make ghee (clarified butter), melt ¾ cup of butter in a large skillet, over medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted, use a spoon to remove the white foam (milk solids) from the top of the melted butter. This laddu also goes by the name potu kadalai laddu, or roasted gram laddu, or hurigadale unde. It is a protein-rich, vegan, not-too-sweet, healthy laddu.

  1. Grind chana into a fine powder and seive it..
  2. In a hot kadhai roast chana powder for 3-4 minutes, and then add it to a bowl..
  3. In the same kadhai add ghee and hot it. Add roasted chana in ghee and mix it well for 3-4 minutes. Continuously stir it..
  4. Switch off the flame. Now, add powdered sugar or boora. Mix well again with spoon. (you can increase or decrease the sugar quantity according to your taste)..
  5. Make sure that there are no lumps in the mixture. To make the ladoo out of this mixture grease your palms with few drops of ghee. Take a small portion of mixture in your hand and press it with both hands. Then shape it into a round ball..
  6. Press it hard so that it does not tear apart while picking it up. Chana laddoos are ready to eat. Store it in air tight container. Enjoyyy….
