Ingredients of Chole Bhature
You need of gm.white whole gram.
Prepare of red chilli powder and tea spoon coriander powder.
It’s of Whole garam masala,two cloves,one cardamom,bay.
It’s of garam masala powder.
You need of big size onion chopped.
It’s of big size tomatoes chopped.
It’s of small piece of ginger chopped.
You need of roasted cumin seeds powder.
Prepare of garlic paste.
You need of Green chillies and fresh coriander leaves chopped.
You need of Amchur powder.
It’s of Oil to cook and salt.
You need of For Bhature.
Prepare of gm. refined flour.
You need of gm. curd.
It’s of baking powder.
You need of salt and sugar.
Chole Bhature instructions
Soak white gram for at least six hours, heat the pressure cooker,put oil,crackle whole garam masala,put chopped onion,stir it till it turns light brown..
Add chopped tomatoes, stir it till it turns into fine paste along with onions,put other spices,garlic and ginger paste and add gram already soaked, add enough water to cook it for twenty five minutes.After two whistles, keep the flame low and cook it..
When it cools down, open the lid, add roasted cumin seeds powder, garam masala powder and amchur powder..
Garnish it with green chillies and coriander leaves and serve it hot with Bhature..
For Bhature.
Mix baking powder, a pinch of salt and sugar and curd to Maida and knead the dough, keep it aside for two hours for fermentation..
Heat the oil in kadai, make ground or oval shape bhatura and deep fry it one by one..
Serve it hot with chole already prepared along with onion slice and lemon..
