Ingredients of Jalebi Shrikhand
It’s 500 of gms. yoghurt.
You need 150-200 of gms. jalebi.
You need 1/4 tsp. of cardamom powder.
You need pinch of saffron mixed in 1 tbsp. water.
You need of few chopped cherries.
Jalebi Shrikhand instructions
Pour the yoghurt in a muslin cloth and place it on a strainer. Keep a bowl underneath and refrigerate it overnight. The thick hung yoghurt is used to make shrikhand..
Blend the jalebis (save few to garnish) coarsely and add to the hung yoghurt..
Whisk well and add the cardamom powder along with the saffron water. Combine everything well..
Serve chilled in individual bowls. Garnish with some broken jalebis and cherries. Enjoy as an after-meal dessert or anytime you desire…….
