Ingredients of Kesar Pista Shrikhand

  1. It’s 500 grams of thick and fresh yoghurt.
  2. You need 1 cup of powdered sugar.
  3. You need 1 tsp of cardamom powder.
  4. You need 1 tbsp of chopped pistachios.
  5. You need 8-10 of saffron strands.
  6. It’s 2 tbsp of warm milk.
  7. It’s 1 tsp of chopped pistachios for garnishing.
  8. You need 1 tsp of chopped almonds for garnishing.
  9. Prepare of Few saffron strands for garnishing.

Kesar Pista Shrikhand instructions

  1. Firstly, tie yoghurt in a clean muslin or cheese cloth..
  2. Hang the yoghurt over a kitchen wash basin for 6-8 hours..
  3. After 8 hours, untie cloth..
  4. You can see that yoghurt become thick and creamy..
  5. Dissolve the kesar strands in warm milk and keep it aside..
  6. Now in a big mixing bowl, add yoghurt, sugar and saffron milk..
  7. Mix it well till sugar gets dissolved completely in yoghurt..
  8. Now add cardamom powder and chopped pistachios, give it a mix and keep it in the refrigerator for atleast 1-2 hours..
  9. Garnish with pistachios, almonds and saffron strands..
  10. Serve chilled.
