  1. You need 500 g of curd.
  2. It’s 1/4 cup of mango puree.
  3. You need 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom.
  4. You need 1 pinch of saffron.
  5. It’s 2-3 tbsp of powdered sugar adjust.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of slivered almonds, pista to garnish.

Aamrakhand/ Mango Shrikhand step by step

  1. Take a muslin cloth and spread it on a big bowl. Pour the curd in the cloth. Now bring the ends of the cloth together and hang it on a support to drain the water from the curd. Let the curd hang for 2-3 hours..
  2. Transfer the hung curd to the bowl.
  3. Add saffron, Cardamom, powdered sugar and mango puree. Adjust sweetness as per taste and sweetness of mango.
  4. Whisk until well combined. Add Mango Shrikhand to serving bowls. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Garnish with saffron, slivered almonds and pistachio. Best served chilled. Eat as is or with puris.
